Being a Woman

Men
Could you at least stare at me when you’re talking and not at my chest?!
What’s up with those cheesy pickup lines. Can’t you try to be original?

Is it too much to ask to walk down the street without being verbally harassed

Do you want to get to know me, or just know enough to shag me?

Do my breasts or butt have a “grab me” sign on them?
When you look at me do you immediately think “inferior”, “weak”, “sex object“?

Menstrual
Another month…another week of cramps.
My emotions are heightened. I’m easily annoyed.
Why do you get upset when I’m being a cranky, hormonal bitch? Why can’t you understand that this is how I was made — emotions come with the territory.

Sex
You’re always horny.
Am I your real-life sex doll?
Why can’t you just sit and talk with me? Who cares if I shoot off a thousand words per minute.
You’re done already? What about me? I would like to have multiple orgasms too, if that’s too much to ask, then ONE will suffice. I like being caressed too.
Why is having a threesome with another guy suddenly taboo? You talk about having one with two girls all the time.
How about we spice things up a bit. Let’s have sex in the car park of the theatre.

After having some talks with some of my female friends, they shared some of the trials of being a woman. Ladies, feel free to add anything that I’ve missed. 🙂

Happy Woman’s Day

This Is A Man’s World Lyrics

This is a man’s world, this is a man’s world
But it wouldn’t be nothing, nothing without a woman or a girl

You see, man made the cars to take us over the road
Man made the trains to carry heavy loads
Man made electric light to take us out of the dark
Man made the boat for the water, like Noah made the ark

This is a man’s, a man’s, a man’s world
But it wouldn’t be nothing, nothing without a woman or a girl

Man thinks about a little baby girls and a baby boys
Man makes then happy ’cause man makes them toys
And after man has made everything, everything he can
You know that man makes money to buy from other man

This is a man’s world
But it wouldn’t be nothing, nothing without a woman or a girl

He’s lost in the wilderness
He’s lost in bitterness

Happy Woman’s DAY! After all women should be celebrated EVERYDAY, right? 😀

Are Women REALLY the Weaker Sex?

I did some research on the topic of whether or not women are really the weaker sex. I found some analysis on the biological and molecular level. however, there is NO need to go that deep to arrive at a conclusion. If we really look at the activities and responsibilities of both sexes, a toddler could come to an obvious conclusion.

Let’s start with some definitions. Note though, that these definitions may be overly simplified.

Women:  The sex that is capable of giving birth, nurturing, and master multitask-er.

Men: The catalyst of women’s problems

I watched a video recently about The Tale of the Two Brains by Mark Gundor that really summed up why women are so skilled at managing competing activities and remembering EVERYTHING. Mark says that women’s brain is like an information superhighway – EVERYTHING is connected to EVERYTHING. A woman would be able to tell you what time the kids school is over, when the kids have a field trip, what she’s cooking for dinner, and what’s she going to wear to work the next day.

A man however, being very simple creatures with simple desires, our brain is setup to reflect that. Our brain is VERY compartmentalized with “boxes”. If we’re going to talk about a particular topic, we only go into that box and that box only. If you’re talking about the kids, we will go into the box labeled kids. If you are talking about the car, we go into the box labeled car etc. It is because of this compartmentalization why we suck at multitasking and always end up in problems with our women.

Without women, MEN would not exist. So in essence we are living in a woman’s world, NOT the other way around. How did man become “superior”? Women are superheroes and should be treated as a MAN’s equal. I can’t think of any job (maybe you can) that a man can do that a woman can’t. In Saudi Arabia, for the first time in history, they are allowing women to vote in 2015. What took you guys so long!? Were you afraid that women would hold all the senior positions in parliament? At least it’s a step forward in the right direction, because in that same country, it’s against the law for a woman to drive. HELLO!!!

So are men really the weaker sex…did I change the question ;)…

You tell me 🙂

Abortion – Is it right?

The proponents of pro-life and pro-choice have been knocking heads for more than 30 years when it comes to the topic of abortion. Since the Roe v. Wade case, the United States legalized abortion on the grounds that the mother’s health is not at risk and that the child is viable outside the womb.

Are pro-life and pro-choice that different? Can’t a mother be “pro-life” and still CHOOSE not to have a child based on her current resources?

Pro-Life

The definition for pro-life states that the government has an obligation to preserve all human life, regardless of intent, viability, or quality-of-life concerns. If a women was raped or if it is determined that the child might be deformed, then the mother is obligated to carry the child to term. What an imposition on the part of the government. Why then do we need human rights or a brain to think for ourselves?

Pro-Life advocates are also against euthanasia, assisted suicide, the death penalty and war. Personally I believe wars are nonsensical.

Pro-Choice

On the other side of the spectrum, pro-life proponents believe that individuals have unlimited autonomy over their reproductive systems as long as they do not impeach on the autonomy of others.

Since gaining independence, everyone has complete autonomy over oneself. Your actions are your own. If your actions impeach on the rights of others, then you face the consequences. There have been great strides in the field of medicine that takes care of unplanned pregnancies. Abstinence is no longer an option because sex is now accessible everywhere. Let’s try and focus on things that are a bit more pressing.

Let’s focus on: Pro-Human Rights; Pro-Equality; Anti-Starvation; Anti-Global Warming; Pro-World Peace; Pro-Literacy.
