I was reading an article about accountability on Freshly Pressed (yes, that same Freshly Pressed that still eludes me ) this morning, and it struck me. I should be more accountable.

I have … give me a minute while I go check … ah yes, 81 followers friends (wait, is that right? Damn. That’s more than I expected). That’s 81 people who think that I have something worth reading. 81 people who expect a new post often (not everyday), but not once a month either . 81 people who wish to be on the path to enlightenment (no, I’m joking, but I had to throw that one in )

So, it’s been decided. I will post something every Tuesday and Thursday. I’ve marked my digital calendar. To all my friends (I don’t fancy the term followers), I thank you for putting up with what appears to be a dormant blog!

Thank YOU! YOU get me out of bed in the mornings … well technically it’s that damn alarm … but after a cold shower, YOU are the ones that bring me … oh darn. I think I’m messing up what I thought would be a great speech.

I’ve been a bit preoccupied with a school project so I haven’t fulfilled by awardee duties. I need more hours in the day

There is not enough hours in the day to do all that is required to do – sleep, blog, eat, work, bathe (that’s optional ).

Hours roll by in minutes when I’m blogging – reading posts and commenting. Sometimes I have to give blogging a break just so I can get enough rest for work. Speaking of work, sometimes I’m blogging there as well. Shhh.

When you’re doing something that you love, time and other things seem menial. The human body needs eight hours sleep  minimum to rejuvenate completely. Of the eight, I spend about six on the computer which leaves two or more for rest (no wonder I feel so drained).

We should be able to purchase hours, similar to the movie In Time. I think that would solve my dilemma. Or would it? Maybe when I have more time I would take on more activities. The more money you have the more your expenses rise Sighs … I don’t know what to do! – Time Management??

~ I draw inspiration from everyday idiots. For example, someone idiot see’s a sign CAUTION: Men at work, then that idiot ignores the sign and gets fucked up. I’m instantly inspired!

~ I’ve known this dude for twenty-odd years now. He’s fun, cool and uber smart. What’s the name of his blog again … Love Thought something. I can’t seem to remember. Bummer!

Why Blog?

Blogging use to be my release (not sexual), but stress, but it is so much more now. It gives me a sense of purpose in this 7billion population world that we occupy, however small it may be. Whether it be, humor, inspirational, drama or educational.

I am especially interested in the people that I’m exposed to through blogging that I would have otherwise not have met. Some blogs take me to other parts of the world (e.g. London). Others have me laughing my ass off on the floor. Some offer a different but insightful perspective on a particular topic. Others have some really deep shit

There are some really interesting people in this world and I think that’s the main reason why there are so many bloggers around. It’s all about the community and potential friends!

I recently met this crazy ass bipolar chick. Before I thought bipolar people were ones to be avoided because they are unpredictable! We’ve shared several comments and I’ve come to realize that she’s as normal as you and I That’s the thing about blogging – It enlightens
